Chris Benchetler’s signature ski and the biggest brother in the Bent family, the latest iteration of the Bent Chetler 120 utilizes Powder Rocker for more float, a poplar Light Woodcore for more strength and a lower-impact design that uses more wood and less metal, fiberglass and resin to decrease the environmental impact of the ski’s production. A wildly imaginative top sheet designed by Chris himself with more recycled material further reduces the overall carbon footprint. In total, material-related CO2 equivalent emissions were cut by 13% (compared with the Bent Chetler 120, 2022). Chris’ favorite update? He’s stoked on the ash wood binding reinforcement band that adds 10% more strength!
