About Marker Kingpin M-Werks 12 bindings

MARKER’s state-of-the-art performance pin binding with DIN settings of up to 12. The Kingpin M-Werks 12 has a carbon-reinforced heel and weighs just 620 g including brake. It offers the ultimate in uphill and downhill performance thanks to features such as an XXL power transmitter and ergonomically shaped climbing aid. A very stiff, similarly carbon-reinforced front with an ISI toe piece makes the binding easier to step into, as a wide footprint with integrated stop automatically positions and aligns your boot. Kinematically optimised pin levers then allow the pins to snap shut with just a gentle push.

Rubber stop pad: Boot tip is aligned/stopped when stepping in.
Wider step-in platform: Enlarged contact area for boot sole when stepping in.
Easier step-in: Toe piece “snaps/clicks into the boot” with a lot less force required.

Ultralight Dual Spring Toe Piece
The Kingpin M-Werks toe piece features a 30% share of long-fiber carbon, which allows for a design that is simultaneously lighter and stiffer than comparable gear. As a result, it requires only two springs. The visual mounting aids that let the skier quickly identify the correct position of the pins relative to the boot. “Anti ice pads” made of dynamic elastomer prevent the sensitive areas below the springs of the toe piece and on the brakes from freezing in extreme cold temperatures. This mechanism also shakes off ice when the toe piece is opened or closed.

Anti-Ice Pads
Elastomer pads under the toe springs help prevent snow and ice buildup.

Ultra Light and Stiff Heel
A new material mix in the heel improves power transfer and rigidity thanks to a lightweight plastic that features 30% long-fiber carbon.
