About Fritschi Vipec evo 12 bindings

Continuous evolution –technically modified in a new design. The high performance touring binding for all occasions will be technically modified for the 2022/23 season, reinforced with carbon and will have a new design with modern colours. Large DIN adjustment range, now also for lightweight skiers, providing perfect safety for the vast majority of ski tourers.

The easy step-in and the practical use of all functions provide security, especially in challenging terrain. The prompt release based on the preset values and the prevention of unwanted releases by the long dynamic path help to reduce injuries to a minimum. In downhill skiing, the higher forces are transmitted in the back. The Vipec Evo is equipped with a solid heel, same as alpine bindings. As a result, it allows a much more dynamic and safer style of skiing downhill. The right mix of light high-tech synthetics and high-quality metal alloys provides superior stability at a low weight (only 500 g / unit).

FEATURES

  • Lateral release at the toe with DIN setting and 13 mm elasticity for the toe-cap
  • Reliable release with 10 mm elasticity for the flexing ski
  • Emergency release when climbing
  • Easy step-in
  • Complete easy handling package
  • Solid, non-turning heel

NOW WITH CARBON FOR EVEN MORE STABILITY
Carbon fiber-reinforced high-tech plastics are used for the front housing. In other words: the Vipec Evo is now even more stable and longer lasting.

THE RIGHT MIX OF MATERIALS FOR TOP PERFORMANCE
Climbing up to the peak with ease and getting downhill safely. Our claim is to achieve this at top performance and with the lowest possible weight. The optimal mix of materials makes the difference. Whether light glass fiber- or carbon fiber reinforced high tech plastics are used, as in the automotive and aviation industries, or high-quality metal alloys is ultimately determined by the technical requirements for optimal product safety and durability and a powerful performance without compromise.

COUNTERACTING THE HIGH FORCES
Bindings are subject to extreme stress. To ensure a long-lasting and reliable high-precision function Fritschi’s designers are using metal components wherever high dynamic forces are acting on the system, e. g. hardened steel, forged aluminum or metal alloy components made by complex processes.

LATERAL RELEASE WHERE IT BELONGS FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE
The pin-binding with lateral release and DIN setting at the toe, where the lateral forces are acting in the event of a fall.

EASY OPERATION MEANS MORE THAN COMFORT
Switching from downhill to uphill mode and vice versa is very simple without having to step out of the binding. The three ergonomically walk mode levels can also be changed in no time with a pole.No other pin binding offers this level of comfort in all functions.

RELEASING ONLY IF NECESSARY
The long dynamic travel of 13 mm for the toe-cap prevents an unwanted release and cushions any lateral impact.
