About Atomic Hawx prime XTD 130 GW boots 2024

Meet the Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 130 GW - a ski boot for both all-mountain skiing and freerides touring. This ready-to-hike boot delivers the legendary feel, skiing power and all mountain capability of Hawx Prime with the touring ability of the Backland. Designed for people with medium feet, Prolite construction delivers more strength with less weight, and a Mimic Platinum liner – a highly customizable liner that molds to the exact shape of your foot, with an Achilles Flex Zone for uphill mobility. Complete Tech inserts in both the toe and the heel allow for maximum touring binding compatibility – along with Frictionless Pivot and Free/Lock 4.0 ski-to-walk mechanism for epic natural movement. The GripWalk soles offer more traction without losing performance while skiing. Boot sizes 23.5 and lower come with a lower cuff design to accommodate shorter legs. Truly a one-boot quiver.

FEATURES

Last
100mm – A comfortable medium volume last derived from Atomic's Hawx Prime boot, meant for all day comfort and then some.

Memory Fit
Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic's special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.

Flex
130 – A very stiff flex for the hardest chargers and larger bodies

3D Platinum Tour Liner

  • Washable and breathable, with tongue stabilizer
  • 3D Stretch Toe Box
  • 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation
  • Achilles Flex Zone

Shell Materials

Energy Backbone
A reinforced, asymmetric backbone providing extra strength for powerful skiing plus enhanced lateral energy transmission for better edge grip.

Prolite Construction
Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then it builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed.
