WT17 SKIS ARMADA KUFO 103
Expand your horizons; earn your turns; go on a walk; insert another trope for backcountry touring here. With the explosion in backcountry skiing, companies like Armada are heeding the call with the Kufo 103. With a versatile 103 mm waist, super lightweight carbon core layup, and carbon Kevlar struts for torsional rigidity, the Armada Kufo 103 Skis blast through chop and arc in pow, all while giving you a leg up on the skin track.
EST All Mtn Rocker – Entry rocker with positive camber underfoot and no tail rocker. Promotes flotation in soft snow while giving the ski great drive and edgehold on the hard pack.
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff): Tip: 6 | Waist: 7 | Tail: 7 – Softer tip allowing for tip deflection in churned snow, and a medium-stiff feel underfoot. Handles hardpack, pow, and changing conditions with ease.
Traditional Shape w/ Tip Rocker
Tour Ultra-Light Core – Armada's lightest wood core species creates the best up-hill feel while retaining the dampness required to descend the gnarliest of terrain. This core makes no concessions in performance in its quest to be ultra-light.
Carbon Kevlar Struts – Carbon and Kevlar stringers used in the tip and/or tail to add pop and extend life.
Carbon Fiber Layup
AR50 Sidewall – Cap construction in the tip and tail, and sidewall underfoot, balancing performance characteristics with lower swing-weight and increased durability.
Comp Series Base – Armada's fastest base.
1.7 mm Impact Edge – Light, strong, and heat treated for durability.
I-Clip Tail – Notch for your skins, allowing for seamless transitions and better skin hold.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
